Mapo Tofu

A flavorful and spicy dish dedicated to my Mama, featuring firm tofu, ground pork, and a delicious sauce using @boilingpointgroup's sauce kits. Perfect for AAPI heritage month or any time you crave comfort food.

What you need
tbsp cornstarch

tbsp water

bunch green onion

lb ground pork

oz firm tofu

clove garlic clove
tbsp garlic paste

tsp chili oil

tbsp chicken bouillon powder
Instructions
1: In a small bowl, combine 1 tsp @boilingpointgroup's Flaming Chili Oil and 4 tbsp @boilingpointgroup's Spicy Garlic Bean Paste. Set aside. 2: In a large wok, heat 2 tbsp cooking oil and add your garlic. 3: After 30 seconds, add your ground pork and sauté until no longer pink, about 2 minutes. 4: Add your cubed tofu and combine gently, about 1 minute. 5: Add your sauce mixture, 1 cup of water, and 1 tbsp chicken powder. Gently stir for 1.5 minutes. 6: Add your cornstarch slurry mixture and continue to stir for 2 more minutes (mixture will slowly thicken). 7: Turn off the heat and garnish with green onions. 8: Serve with fresh jasmine rice.
